Folding screen by Simon Hamui emerges as a complement to the Lú console, which shares a connection with the work of the prominent Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo and his profound interest in dualities.

Bia’ whose name means "similar" or "equal to" in Zapotec is presented in two color variations that allude to Tamayo's iconic painting "Dos Caras." The piece is meticulously shaped in solid wood using a sandblasting technique and metal inlays with geometric incisions that distinguish it. The four panels are connected by the use of leather hinges that pose a reinterpretation of the traditional metal hinge and create juxtaposition with the grain of the wood. Each Bia’ is meticulously crafted by hand in Simon Hamui's studio workshop.
