This console by Simon Hamui was inspired by the work of Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo and his interest in the idea of dualities.
Lú, meaning face in Zapotec dialect, is available in two color variations alluding to Tamayo’s iconic painting “Dos Caras”. The piece is made of solid wood meticulously forged by hand in the art of sandblasting. It features geometrical cutouts with refined metal details that create a contrast with the textures present in the wood.
Note: All products are handmade and will vary.
