Guarida is conceived as a personal space that unfolds in different ways: as a workspace, a place for introspection, for leisure… It is organized as a system of wooden components that open, fold back, and conceal themselves. It incorporates elements that activate for different uses: a bench appears, a side table emerges, and the main surface extends. It is not a fixed piece of furniture; it transforms along with activities, generating a tactile and intimate relationship between user and object. Like a hideaway, the piece envelops and organizes the surrounding space, becoming large or small, closed or open, as desired. It can be a dresser, a worktable, or a cabinet that conceals various drawers and storage areas. It is a mechanism for constructing a personal space within.
