The Greca Chair, 2019, is an abstraction of the virgula or volute, a graphic element of pre-Hispanic iconography that evokes the sound and particularly the word. Sculptor Pedro Reyes' translation into a stony language has been used to emphasize the right angles, finding a balance between gravity and simplicity.
