An industrial designer from Guadalajara, Caterina Moretti is inspired by nature and raw materials with their endless possibilities of shape and texture and their capacity to be transformed into everyday objects. Her zeal for texture and contrast has translated into a wide arrange of objects that invite contemplation and infuse the organic and subtle with an original point of view.

In 2007, Moretti founded the brand Peca, inspired by her passion for natural materials, exploring texture and form, and bringing nature indoors in surprising ways. Serving as both head designer and studio director, Caterina Moretti possesses the rare quality of overseeing her designs while still maintaining her focus on the direction of the business.

She earned her master’s degree in Criticism and Projects from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña in Barcelona and her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from ITESO, Guadalajara, Mexico.
